Tanya is a 2D animator, illustrator, educator, committee survivor, and enthusiastic collector of hobbies. Recognisable by the blue stripe in her hair, she has spent over two decades drawing things professionally and another two decades drawing things she swears are not work.

Beginning with the CADSA Animation Program at FTI (2001–2007), Tanya has contributed to commercial projects, festival shorts, educational programs, and countless sketchbooks that should probably be classified as archaeological sites. She somehow served as Chair of WAnimate for 15 years, making her one of the longest-running animation-related phenomena in Western Australia.

When not teaching animation at TAFE, Tanya can be found running tabletop RPGs, spending time with her wife, bingeing science fiction and fantasy, or wandering outdoors pretending she is not, at heart, a small woodland creature with Wi-Fi.

She firmly believes that every problem can be solved with creativity, persistence, or a sufficiently large cup of coffee.
